Nafs! You have become sixty years old. Twelve Thousand Six Hundred days
of your life have passed during this period. At least twenty sins you must have
committed per day in this period. (Nafs) replied that 'Nay'. (He) said
that 'ten sins per day?' (Nafs) replied that 'Nay'. (He) said 'then five
sins per day?' (Nafs) said 'No'. (He) said 'three sins in a day?' (Nafs)
replied that 'No'. (He) said that 'two sins per day?' (Nafs) replied
that 'No'. (He) said 'then one sin you must have been doing per day?' (Nafs)
replied that 'Yes'. He took a sigh with Ah after this and said that 'O Nafs!
A mountain would have piled up if you had been putting one stone per sin per day
daily and a huge heap of mud would have piled if you had been throwing a handful
mud this way!'

what hope for the relief can be there with the poor son of Adam
[Nafs] in presence of too many sins? He QATA'A (Stanza) That person, who claims to be a Dervish, but, He is not displeased with the tastes of Dunya
(World), You should decide about him this that he is outcast
(and banished) in Reality, Moreover, he will face damned notoriety
and then his case will be lost and he will become unknown. That
person, on him the resentment of Lord comes, thus, the Nafs, Satan,
Dunya
