(4) Allah Almighty says: And when you see them their figures please you; and if they speak you give ear unto their speech. (They are) as though they were blocks in striped cloaks (63:4)

(5) Allah Almighty says: They deem every shout to be against them. They are the enemy, so beware of them. Allah confound them! How they are perverted (63:4)

(6) Allah Almighty says: And when it is said unto them: Come! The messenger of Allah will ask forgiveness for you! The avert their faces and you see them turning away, disdainful (63:5)

These Hypocrites become as hot as fire from top to toe upon just hearing the word of 'Shafaa'at' (Intercession) that Allah Almighty is Just and Judge, there is no room of Intercession and Recommendation in front of Him and a Favor is disagreement to the Justice. The reason is this that these people are arrogant.

TAFSEER (exegesis and Commentary)

1. The first sign is this that these people just claim the verbal Iqraar (Declaration) and only the Dehydrated (curst of) Tauheed they have and in order to prove themselves true, they dispute and debate and even start swearing by. Because of this dried out Tauheed and verbal Declaration, they are the inanimate idols of dry wood that lack the spirit of the Eimaan and Tasdeeq.
2. Second sign of the Hypocrites is this that they are not only barred from the way of Allah Almighty themselves but they also stop the other people from this path. They declare in words but do not acknowledge it through heart.

In addition, if they were true in their Iqraar (Declaration) in believing the Candle of the Jamaal of Allah Almighty, they would have run towards it like swarms of moths as Allah Almighty says 'therefore, flee unto Allah'(51:50) but these people, contrary to this, deny this course and do not follow it and they stop others who are the Seekers and Salikeen of this way.

3. ? The true reality of them is this that these people are the enemies of Allah Almighty, His Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and His Friends (Aulia) and degrade and demean the Friends of Allah Almighty in everything and camouflage their enmity under the disguise of this verbal Tauheed.
4. When these people are refuters and have negative thinking and lack of trust in this way and the guides of this way, then Allah Almighty says that 'Should not Allah ruin these people as these have led them astray without sense'.
5. Sixth sign is this that when they are invited so that the Prophet of Allah Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam may please to request Allah Almighty for their forgiveness or the Aulia of Allah may request Allah for their forgiveness, the fire of sensuality, ego, jealousy and arrogance rises in their hearts in wake of which, they turn their faces and necks away of this path. The real reason of why they block themselves and do not follow this course has been described in these words 'The avert their faces and you see them turning away, disdainful (63:5). In the Surah Al Munafiqoon, Allah Almighty has made it clear that He needs not any of the verbal Tauheed, customary and formal Outward worship done by these hypocrites. Had they believed in Allah truly, they would had surely advanced towards Him. Since they are deniers of this Inwardly Course and are enemies and ill-wishers of the guides and leaders to this Course, therefore, it is clear that these people are hypocrites and conceal their such Nifaaq , (Discord), jealousy and arrogance in the garb of Tauheed.
