45-46 And
that verse, which mentions the darkness of ignorance, is the following: Or
as darkness on a vast, abysmal sea. There covered him a wave, above which is a
wave, above which is a cloud. Layer upon a layer of darkness (24:40)
Here,
in the former verse, is mentioned the Noor
of Allah
and in the later verse are
mentioned the Hijaabaat
of ignorance and heedlessness against the Zikr
of Allah. 'Allah
is the Light of the heavens and the earth………... (24:35)' can never mean
the Essence
of Allah
Almighty as He is sacrosanct and free of likenesses and
metaphors of 'light' and 'darkness' and He is the Creator of the light as well
as the darkness as is clear from this verse: And
has appointed darkness and light (6:1)
We
have explained the above in detail in the first part of our book Irfaan
. In
short, in the Maratib
and the (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact) of
the Zikr
of Allah and the
Words of Allah
is caused difference and dissimilarity of this Noor
and the
Darkness. Due to these degrees, the different names and the different kinds
have been mentioned concerning the Holy Quran. Due to this variance, the Holy
Quran has been remembered with different names. Thus, at different places the
different titles like Quran Majeed, Quran Kareem, Quran Azeem, Quran Hakeem,
Kitaab Azeez and Kitaab e Maknoon have been given and these titles are not
baseless but instead these various names bear various kinds and calibers of the
Holy Quran which we illustrate hereunder in detail with reference to separate
verses: * Hence, Allah
Almighty instructed him to not take the pain of
iteration and took the responsibility of the preservation and compilation of
the Holy Quran as He said: Stir not your tongue herewith to
hasten it. Lo! upon Us (rests) the putting together thereof and the reading
thereof. And when We read it, follow you the reading. Then lo! upon Us (rests)
the explanation thereof (75:16-17-18-19)
In short, this is a great marvel of
the Holy Quran it pervades into his marrow, that is, the heart and spirit on
him it comes. This unique power of the Holy Quran is still present that when,
with the favor and munificence of Allah
Almighty, it enters the heart and spirit
of a person, it gets memorized and remembered in mind without reading and
repeated recitals and is all the time being read by such person. There are many
examples of this that the Subtle
Tongue of heart and spirit completely recites
all Quran within fractions of a second. Thus, it is famous concerning Hazrat
Ali Karram
Allah
Wajhu
that he used to finish complete recital of all Quran within a gap of time
between setting his foot in one stirrup and the other in the other stirrup of
the saddle of a horse! One should not feel it as impossible. In the 'Tazkira Tul Aulia ', it has
been reported concerning Hazrat
Bayezid Bastami Rahmatu-Allahe
Ta-aala Alaihe that
he says that once he was doing Tawaaf
of the Holy Ka'ba that he saw a Wali-Allah
that a Tajalli
of Noor
came down upon him from heavens. Thus, in order to get
the Beneficence
and blessing, he went behind him and started setting his foot
where the foot of that Wali was set on ground while walking. At last, he turned
and saw him and said that 'O simpleton! You will gain no benefit of waling on
my footsteps as long as you will not act according to that which I do'. Hazrat
Bazaid
Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe thought 'God knows what action he
uses to do'. That Wali-Allah
faced to him again and said 'this is my Amal
: I
finish compete recital of all the Noble Quran seventy times daily'. I thought
he must be reading so much Quran in his thought as practically it feels
impossible. Irfan (Volume 2) IRFAAN 2 pdf download Install app |
