Some
jealous people say that there is no power and Auspiciousness (and blessing)
in the tombs of the Aulia-Allah. People just copy others with no sense of their
own and visit the tombs. At some occasions, they say that since the
trustee (or custodian) of the tombs have built shrines and Khanqah
on the
graves of their forefathers which they keep decorated like brides and shower on
the graves the garlands of flowers. Simple minded plain plebs get attracted by
this and visit the graves. There is not any spiritual and Inwardly
Tasarruf of
the Roohani
of the tomb. However this thinking of these blind and jealous
people is wrong.
Noor
of God laughs at this effort of the Kufr
, as,
This
lamp will not be blown by blows of mouth!
The
worldly kings have left no place on their graves which is undecorated and have
done everything in making these magnificent with fine buildings like palaces.
The Taj Mahal of Agra was built on the tomb of his darling wife Mumtaz Mahal by
the king Shah Jehan for the purpose that her respect and esteem would sustain
after her death. What fine and splendid buildings are which are made on the
graves of Jehangir and Noor
Jehan near Lahore at a place called Shah Darra.
What a beautiful compound is of the tomb of Humayun in Delhi where many
emperors and empresses of Mughal family are buried. The tombs of the Bahman
family in Haider Abad
Dakkan are beyond scope of words to express the glory. In
short, the worldly persons and the rulers of the world have spent wealth of
millions and billions of rupees in order to keep their glory and respect alive
after their deaths. However, none is willing to offer Fatihah after going
there. Dogs and jackals urinate there at night. People visit these places just
for fun and recreation and come back after just seeing these buildings. There
are some examples in our country that the children of some landlords and
worldly rich people have made them so called Aulia by erecting tombs on their
graves but Allah
Almighty, as His reaction, has induced such a feeling of
hatred and abhorrence in the hearts of the people for them that people stone
their graves and abuse and degrade these in many ways. Someone has also written
a couplet for them:
*
What
wonderful thing of hypocrisy Inayat Khan did,
With
the might of son's wealth, he became Aulia .
The
reason is this that the respect and honor of the people of world lasts as long
as they are in the world and this respect is also that so called respect which
the people show to them on their face and in their presence only and they feel
so pride in this. However, their servants call their names and abuse them when
they are away. These people are subject to the anger and violence of Allah
Almighty after their deaths for the cruelties and injustice they have done in
the lives and when their heirs (and inheritors) try to increase their so called
respect in the Abode of Hereafter
by erecting tombs on their graves, the Fire
of the Anger and Wrath of Allah
becomes more intense. Allah
Almighty subjects
them to that disrespect and disregard by the hands of the people which is not
done for even the people of the lowest casts of the society like the sweepers
and drain cleaners because these Pharaoh
minded people deserve this.
Allah
Almighty says: And
We made a curse to follow them in this world, and on the Day of Resurrection
they will be among the hateful (28:42)
On
the other hand, the tombs of many Aulia-Allah are just made of mud like the tomb of Hazrat
Khawaja Baaqi Bi Allah
but their respect and regard is being observed by people
more than big tombs. Thus, this respect and honor is not that can be made by a
person himself but rather this respect is the grant and favor of Allah
Almighty
which He favors to him He wills.
You
exalt whom You will and You abase whom You will (3:26)
The
honor and reverence of the grave and tomb of the Wali is not because of the
tomb's building and the shrine etcetera but it is because that the Spirit
of
the Wali exists there and the spring of his Beneficence
flows there. That is
why the crowd of the people thirsty for the religion and the world remains
there.
Not
water of every spring is sweet that,
People,
birds and peacocks will flock to it to quench their thirst.

?
The
Aulia-Allah
ingress and
egress their tombs. They collect the gifts of the charity, alms and Fatihah and
recitation of the Holy Quran from the people and provide them the Beneficence
and blessings in lieu of their such service and the devotion they have shown
for them and get their hardships eased from the Court of Allah
Almighty.
