HADIS (Saying of the Holy
Prophet of Allah Lo! The Holy Quran
is the Hujjat (argument) of Allah
Almighty. [O Rightful Seeker!] Be informed
that Maratib are five in each of which are five Treasures or five
Tasarrufaat. First is the Maratib Shanaas Ilm
of the Authentic Text,
Hadis
and Tafseer. Second, the Maratib of Ilm of Dawat
endowed with Takseer. Third, the Maratib of the Ilm of Zikr
and Fikr
endowed with (efficacious) effectiveness. Fourth, the Maratib of
the Ilm
of Marifat
Roshan-Zamir endowed with Kimiya
Akseer. Fifth is the Maratib
of Faqar, which is the Mushahida of the Secrets of the
Mysteries in the Haq-ul-Yaqeen. Faqeer
is he, in whose possession are Both-the-Worlds. The world is his bondman
and the Hereafter is his slave. In Faqar, when a person reaches
unto the Ultimate Maratib of a Faqeer "When Faqar
reaches
unto its extremity (and entirety), that is Allah" [O
True-Seeker!] Be enlightened that he should first acquire five (kinds
of) Ilm, after this he becomes eligible of the Talqeen and Irshaad
of the Faqeer Murshid. Making people Mureedain, Initiating
them on hand (Bai-at), giving Hidayat unto the Course of probity is legitimate
and means following the practice of the Holy Prophet Sal

, he becomes Emir on Nafs. That Faqeer,
who is endowed with this caliber, he wears the raiment of Shariyat
from the top to toe and never does against Shariyat but instead [in
every way] tries in Shariyat and does not trade his Deen in
lieu of Dram (or drachma) of 
) and is honored with Sighting the
Sight of the Provider
. He
should be the one, who gets Baqaa from the Noor of the Essence,
should be the Favorite (and Accepted one) of the 
. He should be in the Hazoor,
be respectful, be Bashful (and modest) and the one, ready to sacrifice
his life for the Cause of Allah. He should be the one, who does excision
(Qatey) of Shahwat and should be in conformity of the Ilm of
the Ulema and should keep the Dead Hearted people away of greed
and desire!
