Asrarul Qadri

They, by holding their heart along with stopped breath, by rolling the heart unto the left side, say that this is the Station of Qalb. They believe Kalb (dog) the Qalb and say that this is the Zikr of Habs. The Zikr-e-Habs has relation with Hazoori and Mushahida. Their doing Zikr of this kind with exposition is not the Habs but instead it is (Abs) vain and useless. They, then roll the heart towards right side after stopping breathing and say that this is the Station of Ruh. And they are ignoramus (unaware) of the Station of Ruh. The Zikr-e-Ruhi is, but, of the likeness of the Great Flood of Hazrat Nooh (Noah) Alaihis-Salaam in which the Boat of Fervor sails (over and) above the Arsh. In addition, (they), by closing (breath) inside the brain, say that this is the Zikr-e-Khafi and Yakhfa and the Sultani although (in Reality) they do not know what Zikr-e-Sultani is [which is in other terms is called the Sultan ul Azkaar]. They are the seekers of Dunya (World), cohorts of Waswaas, illusions (Superstitions), Khatraat, Khannas and Khartoum and are in the captivity of Satan.

All Azkaar (plural of Zikr) are of seven kinds, which are as under:

1.      Zikr of Allah

2.      Zikr of Lillah

3.      Zikr of Lahu

4.      Zikr of Hu

5.      Zikr of Sirr Hu

6.      Zikr of Hu al Haq

7.      Zikr of Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah

From each of these seven Azkaar (plural of Zikr), open Seven Million Thirty Thousand (7,030,000) Azkaar but rather the Zikr of Allah are many and countless, which cannot come in the ambits of record and expression. For the Zikr of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat), the Divine Words (of Revelation) are infinite and incalculable.

Allah Almighty says: Say (O Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam to mankind) If the sea were ink for (writing) the Words of my Lord, surely, the sea would be exhausted before the Words of my Lord would be finished, even if we brought (another sea) like it for its aid (18:109)
