HADIS (Saying of the
Holy Prophet of Allah Keeping Muhabbat
for Faqeers is of the morality (and conduct) of the Prophets and keeping
hatred for Faqeers is of the habits of Pharaoh. Hence, it is revealed that the Riwayat
is for the Hidayat and Fazeelat and the Demand for the Murshid
is for the sake of Waseelat (expedient liaison on the Course). Allah Almighty Ilm is not Waseela.
Ilm is the light and the (rectitude of) right path. Murshid is Waseela,
who is the guardian of the Course, the caretaker, and he is the patron
of the Course [of Salook], that leads unto the Marifat of Lord 1.
