That
sect of the Millat (nation), which is of the Sunnat-Wa-Jamaat,
it, in reality, escorts (you) unto Haq and as regards Ilm , it prevails
as dominant over the other seventy-two sects, which are Baatil
and it dispels the Baatil because the Ahl-e-Sunnat-O-Jamaat are Saeed
(blessed ones). This is so because of the fact that the very foundation
of this sect (and School of Thought) is on the Marifat of the
Holy Quran, which is the root of Tauheed. All the rest besides the Sunnat-Wa-
Jamaat are the People of Taqleed and are Shaqee (the unblessed
ones). Be
illuminated that Ilm is of so many kinds. No Millat (people) or Tareeq
is out of Ilm as the lesson of the Ilm is divided into two
kinds: 1. Ilm-of-Outward
(Outwardly Ilm) 2. Daras
(Lesson) of Outward Since
all the world is in the cover of the sacred Shara'a, the other Ilm
are Marifat of Inward and the Lutuf (Condescension
(with complaisance)) and Raza. Then, there are seven Daras (Lessons)
in the Ilm-of-Inward (Inwardly Ilm). This Ilm is acquired by
seven Tareeq (ways) by which, seven (kinds of) Taufeeq of Jamiyat
and the Hikmat of Tahqeeq (verification) are received. Be
informed that the Murshid Arif and Aalim is unique.
He takes the Seekers unto all Inwardly Mataalib
and Maratib.
Hence, first the Ilm of Zikr
and Daras (Lesson) of Fikr
make him Aalim
Zaakir. Then (he makes him) the Aalim
of Fikr
by the Ilm
and Fikr
and the Daras
of Fikr
, then the Aalim
of Mazkoor
by the Ilm
of Mazkoor
and the Daras of
Mazkoor
, then the Aalim
of Ilhaam
by the Ilm
of Ilhaam
and the Daras of Ilhaam
, then the Aalim
of the Mushahida
of Hazoor
by the Ilm
of the Mushahida
of
Hazoor
and the Daras of the Mushahida
of Hazoor
, then the Aalim
Drowned by the
Ilm
of Drowned
and the Daras of Gharq, and then the Aalim
of the honor of Didaar
by the Ilm
of Marifat. At that time, the condition of the Seeker
matches with
