Muraqiba is the Johar of Eimaan. Through it, the Maraaqib (who undertakes True Muraqiba) becomes the Muqarrib of Allah Almighty.

[O True-Seeker!] Be informed that: Muraqiba has relation with four things, which are just four Meem:

1.      First is the Muraqiba e Muhabbat: through it is seen the Mushahida of the Mysteries of Lord. This thing comes in hand through the Visualization of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat).

2.      Second is the Muraqiba e Marifat: through this emerges the Noor of the Tauheed of Lord. This thing also comes in hand through the Visualization of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat).

3.      Third is the Muraqiba e Mi'raaj (Ascension): Through it is revealed unto the Assalaat (Prayers) from heart; the Mushahida of Zikr currents; Zeal and comfort is got; the entire body becomes alive and every hair starts calling Yaa Allah Yaa Allah. This thing is also received through the Visualization of the Name Lahu the Essence.

4.      Fourth is the Muraqiba e Majmooa-tul Wujood: Through it the entire body is surrounded by the Mushahida of the Noor and the Maraaqib becomes dominant over the Nafs and Satan up to the extent that the Maraaqib, as long as, has not met with every Holy Messenger (of Allah) and Wali in every Majlis, he does not leave Muraqiba although, in the eyes of people, it is a moment's time but in the Inward, that is equal to seventy thousand years and rather the magnitude of the Sukhan (Word) of this Muraqiba is equal to the Master of the Haft-Andaam and the End of the Muraqiba is Khatam-Tamaam (entirety). Moreover, seventy thousand Noorani forms emerge out of the body of the Maraaqib of this kind of Muraqiba each doing the Zikr of Lord and the time when the Master of Muraqiba leaves Muraqiba, those Noorani forms go back to their original station. Some people know that he is in Muraqiba whereas some people do not know that he is doing Muraqiba. This Muraqiba is carried out through the Visualization of the Name Hu and through the Name Hu open four (kinds of) Zikr that have Jazb and Masti which are called "Drowned in the Noor of Hazoor":
