And the Hairat of Desire is the product of one's company with the fosters of the Nafs - the People of Dunya (World). Its treatment is this that he should declare giving up the love with Worldly People and (he should) eat dry food so that his heart should become illuminated. And the Hairat of Fanaa is encountered due to the Station of Fanaa, Worry for the Day of Resurrection and anxiety and the thoughts of the Hazoor.

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Tafakkur of an hour is better than the worship of Both-the-Worlds.

[KINDS OF FAQEERS]

[O True-Seeker] Be informed! Faqeers are of five kinds:

1.      First are those Faqeers who are the Masters of Tasarruf the Ulema-e-Aamil the People of Shariyat, that is, the Deceptive Faqar (Faqar e Fareb).

Allah Almighty says: And part not with My revelations for a trifling price, and keep your duty unto Me. (2:41)

They do so in order that the King Aurangzeb (or any king of time) may become their obedient Mureed.

2.      Second are the Faqeers the People of corruption (Ahl e Fasaad) as the People of Bidat and Istadraaj are.

3.      Third are Faqeers the People of Jihad against Nafs. It means those Faqeers the People-of-Allah (Ahl-e-Allah), who kill the Nafs and wage Jihad against it for Allah.

4.      Fourth are those Faqeers, who are spoiled in Both-the-Worlds like the Kaafir Jogi.

BAYT (COUPLET)

He neither possesses Ilm nor wisdom nor the Reality of Ilm nor the wealth of Yaqeen;

He is like a Kaafir Dervish who neither possesses the pomp and wealth of Dunya (World) nor has he Deen.

5.      The fifth are those Faqeers the People of Istaghraaq, who are in face to face with Fervor and Hankering (with curiosity).

Allah Almighty says: so ever you turn, there is countenance of Allah (2:115)
