Malfuzat Hazrat Sultan Bahu (r)

One is Outwardly and the other is Inwardly . Outwardly is that which is for the manifestation to people fame and reputation and popularity. And the Inwardly is this that the heart has become like Kebab with heat and the soul has become like Kebab by the Fire of Zikr . In the sight of Creatures he is powerless and in distressed conditions but in the sight of the Creator he is Bey-Hijaab Drowned in the ocean of Hazoor .

24.  The word Dervish has five letters of alphabet: Letter Daal implies that he should have pain (feeling) Raa means that he should strictly follow the right course of religion Wao means that he should have Wahdaniyyat of 'Laa Shareeka Lahu (without any partner)' Yaa means that he should be one who does Zikr of Haq Sheen means this that he should be the Master of Shariyat who keeps away of the things forbidden by Allah. That person who is endowed with these calibers is the Laa-Yuhtaaj Dervish with carelessness (with self-sufficiency) otherwise he is a needy person.

25.  Worshippers of Nafs (sensual and egotist) are many but Worshippers of God (godly) are very few. Trample over the lust for sex (Shahwat ) anger greed desire and glitter (and ornament) so that you should become a Mard in one attempt.

26.  There are three things in Marifat : first Patience at the hour of hardship; second Thankfulness at the hour of grant (and favor); third remaining pleased on the Decree (Qaza). That person who claims Marifat and these things are not present in him then it is clear that his claim is not true.

27.  It is a must for the Murshid that he should first prove his status of a Murshid. Hence two things are indispensable being a Murshid: first he should honor the Seeker with Didaar by taking him in the Mushahida through the Haziraat of the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat); second he should grant the Tasarruf of countless treasures to the Seeker .

28.  Two things a Seeker must have. One whatever wealth and life the Murshid needs he should hand over to him; second he should never do anything without the order (and permission) of the Murshid .

29.  The Master of Permission (and authorization) is that Faqeer the Kun Fa Yakoon [Be! And it is! (36:82)] is his hallmark. That is for whatever task he asks to be! It happens by the order (and permission) of Allah Almighty.

30.  One word of the Faqeer the Master of Permission (and authorization) is better than the Riyazat of forty Chillas .

31.  Mujahida is that which has Mushahida otherwise it is useless.

32.  Many Ulema say this that in this era there is no Faqeer the Master of Irshaad and Talqeen of Hidayat .

They take theoretical issues (and concepts) and tell that Waseela is fallacious. Where there are the Seekers of Lord the Masters of sagacity the Aalim the People of gaze the Faqeers the Masters of Hidayat are also present there because the day when the later will cease to exist on the earth the angles will throw the earth away on that day.

33.  Without the Visualization Tasarruf Tafakkur and Tawajuh of Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat) it is impossible for the Faqeer the Roshan-Zamir the Oolul-Amar to dominate Both-the-Worlds .

34.  [O Seeker of Lord!] Be enlightened that the Qadiri Sufi-Order is dominant and able over all the rest of Sufi-Orders. This is because the outset of the Qadiri-Sufi-Order is the end of [other] Sufi-Orders .

35.  Murshid should be that much Kaamil that he should take the Seeker onto the Ultimate Maratib by just one gaze and after lifting every Hijaab should Drown the Seeker in the Mushahidaat .

36.  You should keep yourself secret (and unnoticed) from people up to the maximum extent that you can. How can the Arifeen be Khud-Farosh !

37.  It should be remembered that the music-and-warble and raga (Sarood ) is not any achievement of life but instead it keeps one away of God Almighty and His Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and is disgrace (and shame) all over.

38.  That person who is liked by the Creator what if he is not liked by Creatures!

39.  That Murshid who does not take the Seeker unto the Marifat of Lord in the very first day and does not reveal unto him is Imperfect and braggart.

40.  O brother! If you desire to be a lord in the Hereafter then be a Seeker at the threshold of a Qadiri in the world.

41.  Onetime Tawajuh of the Murshid-e-Kaamil is superior to thousands of Wird and Wazaaif and the Zikr and Fikr .

42.  O Dervish! That body in which the Name Allah brings its Taseer (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact)) that person never becomes a victim of any trouble and instead he becomes a Wali Allah .

43.  O Dervish! Whosoever has got got from the Name Allah.

44.  Those who are the Masters of Irfaan always remain engrossed in the Name Allah (Ism e Allah) and they never find peace due to the dominance of the Name Allah.
