Makhzanul Asrar Makhzan Ul Asrar

Many exterior seers, blind by eye, the Aalim of language and the Jaahil in Qalb persons deny the profits and Sawaab of the Outward Recitation of the Holy Quran. They say 'reading of the Holy Quran like a parrot' does not earn any profit. Thus, these stupid persons are not believe the Holy Quran as Uncreated Word and the Materialized Noor and are ignoramus and ignorant about the Secreted Secret of the (efficacious) effectiveness (and the impact) of the Holy Quran. Nevertheless, what is the reason that the Quran read day and night and no solid effect and benefit is realized and felt although it has been said:

Allah Almighty says: say: If We had caused this Quran to descend upon a (solid inanimate) mountain, you (O Muhammad) verily has seen it humbled, rent asunder by the fear of Allah (59:21)

However, some hearts of people are harder than stone that the Noor of the Holy Quran does not cause effect on them and does not absorb in them. Thus, the Holy Quran itself gives its witness that:

Then, even after that, your hearts were hardened and became as rocks, or worse than rocks, for hardness (2:74)

Hence, remember! Same as your body sleeps and falls ill and dies, same like this, heart is also subject to some disorders. Hearts become ill; become blind and deaf and becomes senseless like a solid stone when they have died. Hence Allah Almighty has said:

In their hearts is a disease, and Allah has increased their disease (2:10)

Further:

Allah Almighty says: For indeed it is not the eyes that grow blind, but it is the hearts, which are within the bosoms, that grow blind (22:46)

Verily, the Word of Allah the Holy Quran and the Zikr Fikr etcetera are goodly food of heart and Spirit. However, if tasty and the full of energy foods, like Ghee and meat are served to an ill person, these are not found him tasty nor do these provide him any benefit and strength but instead loss is gained. That is the reason that the romantic tempers of the bright minded and educated class of nowadays never feels filled after reading the unreal stories and romantic novels but they look beaten by death when they have to read a verse of the Holy Quran because their Nafs gets power and potency when they read novels and romantic stories.
