[Although] Allah
Almighty [FROM WHERE DOES THE
NAFS COME INTO BEING?] O dear! It should be known [but] you do
not know what thing the Nafs is and from which Station, it takes
birth? When Allah
Almighty 
has said: O you sons of Adam,
that you worship not the devil. Lo! He is your open foe! (36:60)
issued the Talqeen of
Ilm
to Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam
and He had taught him names of all
things
,
[in the first instance], the gaze
of Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam incidentally gazed
upon the Arsh and saw that the "Kalimah-e-Tayyeb" written on the Arsh.
Upon seeing Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu
Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah
, Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam read the Kalimah-e-Tayyeb
(Laaa-Ilaaha Ill-Allahu
Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah. Thus, Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam was surprised and asked
that who is Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah whose name was written with the name
of Allah? It was ordered by Allah
Almighty that "O Adam Alaihis-Salaam! Amongst your
sons one will be one, who
will be the "Last of the Prophets of all times" on him
, the Prophethood will come to end; "Muhammad-ur-Rasoolu-Allah
" is his name; on the Day of Doom, he will Intercede
for you". This yielded egotistic vigilant concern (Ghairat) in the heart
of Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam that how can a son
be the Interceder of father? Due to this egotistic emulation, the
Nafs came into being in the body of Hazrat Adam Alaihis-Salaam
and from the Nafs
, the greed (grasping) and lust took birth due which, he
ate the grain
of "wheat" and was expelled from the Eden. In addition, through lust came
into being Jealousy that Hazrat Habeel (Abel) killed Hazrat Qabeel
(Cain) and became Kaafir; and from Jealousy, arose the arrogance and Anaa
which is the absolute raiment of the accursed Satan. Moreover,
due to pleasure (and happy hours), semen of sperms released from the arrogance
and Anaa
and from this semen, the brigand Dunya
(World) emerged
and this brigand world gave birth to four sons: Khannas , Khartoum ,
Waswasa and Khatraat .
