383-384 Hence,
the evil spirits and devils like these used to enter the idols and made the
people astray. These invisible evils kept their worshippers engaged into their
worship by frightening them. Sometimes, these also gave helpful tidings to them
to help them improve their business. That is, their belief remained firm on
their idol deities because of the fear and hope established by these evil
spirits otherwise, the human being, who is the Noblest Creature, cannot be so
foolish that he would worship idols made by his own hands without a reason and
will keep it doing for thousands of years. The Holy Quran has unveiled this
reality at many occasions and has referred these invader evil spirits of idols
with Jinn
and Devils. And
on the day when He will gather them all together, He will say unto the Angels:
Did this worship you? They will say: Be You glorified. You are our Protector
from them! Nay, but they worshipped the jinn; most of them were believers in
them (34:39-40)
Yet
they ascribe as partners unto Him the jinn, although He did create them, and
impute falsely, without knowledge, sons and daughters unto Him. Glorified be He
and High Exalted Above (all) that they ascribe (unto Him) (6:100)
* Thus
have We appointed unto every Prophet an adversary devils of humankind and jinn
who inspire in one another plausible discourse through guile. If your Lord
willed, they would not do so; so leave them alone with their devising (6:112)
Because there is test and wisdom of Allah
and those, who are the special slaves of Allah, there will be no power and
dominance of the devils upon them. Jinn
and devils had been forcing the people
to worship them after making them worried in different ways and by making them
ill of different diseases and by giving them many kinds of pains. This has come
in the Holy Quran about Hazrat
Ayub Alaihis-Salaam: (Job cried unto his Lord saying): Lo! the
evil does afflict me with distress and torment (38:41)
Once a very up-to-date English-speaking
gentleman came to me. He told me that he was caught up in a very severe problem
and requested help. I asked him what severe problem was. He told me that a
cruel Jinn
and an harmful (and insidious) malignant spirit has dominated upon
his wife which gives her much pain when it overcomes her and her health has
dropped much. That malignant spirit speaks through her tongue and when it comes
to know that we are trying to heal her through treatment or charm or amulets,
it distresses all of the family members through dream and wakefulness. In short,
it has disturbed us all. That injurious spirit speaks that it lives in on the
brink of a well at some place and all of us should go there daily in order to
burn oil lamp there and to offer oblation there and then it will not give us
any disturbance. Irfan (Volume 1) IRFAAN 1 pdf download Install app |
