Inwardly Death (Maut ) is of seven types: Death in Muhabbat , Death in Marifat , Death in Honor of the Mushahida of Lord, Death by Killing the Sly Nafs and watching Spectacle of Both-the-Worlds on the Back Side of the Nail, Death in Perpetual Hazoori in the Majlis of Hazrat Muhammad, Death for Meeting with the Holy Prophets Alaihimus-Salaam and Aulia-Allah , Death Mehram Pardah Bardaar Shakht Baidaar. The Kaamil gets one successfully cover these Maratib of Death Muradaat through the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat ) and shows through the Name Allah. After this, the entire Past, Present and Future is known by the Seeker . Such Roshan-Zamir becomes free of the want of Ilm Uloom written and recorded. Listen! O Master of frequented (and thriving) Inward ! Why have you wasted your life for name and fame and titles and distinction? The Ilm Miftah ul Abwaab, that is, that Ilm by which the gateways of all Uloom open, is the Ilm of Tauheed .

That is why, Allah Almighty addresses to the claimants of true love (Muhabbat) and says: then long for death (for you must long for death) if you are the truthful (2:94)

Hence, Death is the real craving for the Friends and Lovers of Allah Almighty.

Hazrat Umar Ibne Khataab Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhu wrote a letter to a Non-Muslim Ruler who was at war against Muslims that If you embrace Islam, we will become brothers and if you opt to not accept Islam, pay Jizya. Even in this case, we will not show any aggression unto you. And if you do not accept any of these two conditions, then we will send such valiant men who believe death and Martyrdom dearer to life.

Hence, the true Believers of Allah Almighty do not fear death but long for it. Thus, Hazrat Sultan-ul-Arifeen Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe says that 'that which people see as death, is a message of happiness for us'. Now everyone should see if he fears dying or demands death.

Allah Almighty says: therefore, flee unto Allah' (51:50)

But we flee away of Allah Almighty because running away of death, that is a means of Wasal with the Beloved, is running away of the Beloved.

Allah Almighty says: Say (O Muhammad): O you who are Jews! If you claim that you are favored of Allah apart from (all) mankind, then long for death if you are truthful. But they will never long for it because all that their own hands have sent before, and Allah is Aware of evil doers (62:6-7)
