(5) O wise friend! Be
prepared! Come along with me inside the Tavern [of Marifat], Make an bond with
[Marifat] drunkenly like the gallant Mardaan. Pledge the Prayer
Carpet and acquire the goblet of the Wine [of Marifat]
in your hand, Give up the vanity
of wisdom by purifying and cleaning your heart and soul. What if you have
become wise and sagacious even, [but in this world,] your
worth is not equal to half a grain of barley, You can only be titled
Mard when you have become crazy Mard [on the Course of Amal]. ?You are covering
yourself with the garb of Faqar [but] you do not imbibe
its Wine, Why have you
fallen in deception and spurious scheme? You are saying the unreal
and unrealistic stories. Cause yourself
free against this fakeness and Riya, Who else than drunken
Intrepid-devotee [Arif] enters this Course [of Marifat]? Become [free]
like the drunk [of the Tavern of Marifat] why are you
hiding? How can Masti
come without the liquor [of Marifat]? Drink a goblet of the Wine
[of Marifat] in old age; set your foot inside the Tavern [of Marifat]. That [the Pure
Essence] is the One [and] gives Guidance, you should come
alone in this vale of Faqar, You should yourself
become [unwavering] friend like real Mardaan; the bliss
[of Wasal will always come to you. What you are
talking of the Nafi (there is none worthy of worship except Allah Why have you associated
yourself with the Outsiders of Allah? You should drunkenly chant He
is Hu Drink this Wine
[of Marifat] like a drinker, Destroy (Fana) your
[mortal] self-conceit, The Pir of
