(SEEKER) AND MUREED
The Seeker
and Mureed should
be respectful, Bashful (and modest) and Seeker of Lord  . In addition, he should be Aalim
Faazil
in the Ilm , the Master-of-gaze , Conscientious
(and observant), alert, dedicated (and faithful) and ready
to sacrifice anything. Such Seeker is eligible for the Talqeen for
Lord. Furthermore, he should be the Knight-Rider of the ride of Nafs
, Living-Hearted, granter of Comfort (and solace) to
the Ruh , should feel disdain for Bidat , and should be endowed
with wisdom and intelligence. He is Seeker, who Demands the
Marifat
of God, Qurb and Hazoori from the Murshid. He
should leave away those beads of the chaplet with which the people are conquered
(Musakhar ) and should also to give up Zikr Mazkoor
. Do you know
that the Ilm is the asset of Eimaan and Ilm gives light to
Both-the-Worlds and Ilm takes unto the Lahoot and Lamakaan
and
Ilm is Ain-Ayan and the narrator of Tauheed and it is a killing
Sword for the Devil Nafs to eliminate them? And what
thing is called Ilm and what is [this] Ilm and what for Ilm is
read and what thing is gained by Ilm and what are the meanings of Ilm?
The Ilm-of-Outward is the Ilm of worships and dealings
(Muamlaat ) for example the Fear and Hope. (The
word) Ilm means "to
know". What thing "to know"? [Its answer is this that] one should always
(identify and) know Haq. And what is that, which is Haq? Haq is
this that by means of Haq, Ilm comes inside the body and all the Baatil
goes outside the body. And to what thing do you call the Ilm of Haq
and what thing do you consider Baatil? Haq is this that the Haqaiq
(Truths), Haqeeqat and Marifat should be found, that is, the Ilm
the Pillars of the Islam should be achieved, which is the Foundation
of Ilm in brief. All that, which is besides this, is indecency, Kufr,
Shirk, Bidat , blights of Nafs and Satan and
is the perplexity (and turbulence) of the Dunya (World) and is Outcast.
These things can be sooner dispelled by the Ilm of Haq. This is
the Haq and Ain-ul-Ilm, which is achieved by the Muhaqaqeen
of Haq through Haq.
Do you know? Acquisition of Ilm
is for the sake of Obedience (and worship), not for Pomp (and
glitter) and livelihood.
