HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

?Mureed is he, who has no personal desire.

And if the Seeker is in Demand of the Station of the Spirit of Tauheed whereas the Murshid is in Demand of Dunya (World) for the sake of the impure Nafs, then such an association does not look fine. The Murshid and the Pir-e-Kaamil is like Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and the Pir-e-Naqis and Murshid-e-Naqis are like Satan. Do not waste your life [just for nothing in his service]. He is a bandit. That Pir and Murshid, who does not have such kind of the Taufeeq, he is not competent to issue Irshaad. A bandit is better than him.

ABYAAT (COUPLETS)

First of all, you should acquire Ilm [the Name Allah] and then come here,

The Jaahil [that is, those, who are neglectful of the Name Allah] have no value and worth near Allah,

The Ilm of Haq [that is, the Ilm of the Name Allah] is a dazzling Noor; No other Noor is as the likeness of this Noor,

Ilm is for Amal; the Aalim, who does not bring Ilm into his practice, is the likeness of ass carrying books!

The parable of the Aalim, who does not Follow Ilm (Aalim Bey Amal), is that which Allah Almighty has described:

Allah Almighty says: is as the likeness of the ass carrying books (62:5)

The Course to Allah Almighty is neither dependent upon Ilm nor has connection with ignorance. This is, but, just the Course of Muhabbat and Sincerity (genuineness (and devotion) as the dog of the Ashaab-e-Kahf [became entitled to enter Paradise]. If the way could only be through Ilm, the Bal'am Baoor would have been [succeeded]; if it depended upon the worship only, then why Satan should had been declared the accursed! He, in whose fist Both-the-Worlds are, for what he should be needy of reading, writing and grasping a pen in fingers?

BAYT (COUPLET)

[No doubt] even if you read Ilm of syntax and grammar and the principles of Fiqah all throughout your life,

However, O ignorant! You will remain away [of all the Uloom] in absence of that Ilm [that is, the Name-Allah-the-Essence (Ism-e-Allah-Zaat)] which grants Wisaal with Allah Almighty.

ABOUT BAL'AM BAOOR: He was a renowned scholar and pious person in the Children of Israel in the era of Hazrat Musa Alaihis-Salaam. He had been engrossed in mortification and Mujahida for forty years. He knew the Ism-e-Azam. When he raised his head, he could see up to the Throne. Twelve thousand scholars used to study in his company. He was Mustajaab-ud-Dawaat. Due to his curse, Hazrat Musa Alaihis-Salaam along with his nation remained in problems in the valley of Tiya. When message of Allah came that, He had granted him the power of Dawat but he has been unthankful to Allah. Had he shown gratefulness to Allah even once in his entire life Allah would have not been not taken all the bounties back from him. Under lobbing of his nation and after taking from them a lot of wealth and rewards, he wished a curse against Hazrat Musa Alaihis-Salaam and the Children of Israel that fell back on him. And it has come in Holy Quran that his condition became so much worse like that dog which if beaten, would wheeze and if not beaten, it would even then wheeze. He ended in state of Kufr and met ruination due to a curse of a Messenger.
