desiring the pomp of the world and obey not him whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance, who followed his own greed and whose case has been abandoned. (18:28)

The Aashiq and Mashooq (Beloved) and Mahboob (Loveable) and the Aashiq Jaani as well - their Martaba in life is seeing Didaar . Qurb comes through Qalb . The following Verse has come for the People of Living Qalb:

Allah Almighty says: And when Ibrahim said (to his Lord): show me how do you give life to the dead, He said "Do you not believe". Ibrahim said "yes I do but (I ask) in order that my heart be at ease". (His Lord) said: "take Four of the Birds and cause them incline to you, then place a part of them on each hill, then call them, they will come to you in haste. And know that Allah is Mighty Wise (2:260)

Moreover, this Hadis-e-Qudsi is about of the Aashiq and Mashooq (Beloved):

HADIS-E-QUDSI

(Saying of Allah reported by the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Lo! There is a clot of flesh inside the body of the children of Adam, which is called Fuwaad (Heart). Inside Fawaad is the Qalb. Inside the Qalb is the Ruh. Inside the Ruh is the Sirr. Inside the Sirr is the Khafi. In the Khafi is Yakhfa. In the Yakhfa is the Akhfa and in the Akhfa am I.
