BAYT (COUPLET)

Every verse and Hadis which you hear, this lesson is learnt,

That, he who is firm in Deen, he is the Mard Arif.

O Lord! You (alone) we worship, and You (Alone) we ask for help (1:4)

Ilm is related with Deference and Faqar with Amar (authority and order). No doubt, the Ulema are the lamps of the Deen, not those Ulema, who are the Seekers of sordid Dunya (World). Although lamp (also) gives light but the Faqeer is sun of the Deen. Lamp is lightless in front of sun and the world is brightened with the beneficence of the sun.

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

Acting upon Order (Amar) has superiority over Deference.

Allah Almighty says: and Allah has full power and control over His Affairs (12:21)

Moreover, that Arif, who has no Ilm, he is blind and the Aalim with no Marifat can never reach unto Haq. He can neither be made Aamil by the Ulema nor the Kaamil by Faqeers. The relation between the Ilm and Faqar is indispensable.

HADIS

(Saying of the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam)

He died the death of Jaahil who acquired Ilm for the sake of accumulating wealth. And he died the death of hypocrite, who acquired Ilm for the sake of argumentation. And he died the death of sinful person, who acquired Ilm for the sake of discussions and fighting. And he died the death of Zandeeq (atheist), who acquired Ilm for the sake of self-importance (and greatness). However, he died the death of sincere True Believer, who acquired Ilm for the sake of doing the deeds of righteousness.
