He
is the First and the Last, and the Outward
and the Inward; and He is Knower of
all things (57:3), naught is as His likeness; and He is the Hearer, the Seer
(42:11); and, 'All praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds' (6:45), and Darood
and Salaam be upon His Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa
Aa-lehee Wa-sallam All
praise be executively to that Essentially Existing Essence
Whose Non-Existence
is Impossible (the Waajib-ul-Wujood
), in uttering the Reality of the Depth of Him,
the capacity of utterance of the Noon Nukta
Shanaas of the First Noor
is short
and in stating His Marifat , the foot of the Primordial Ilm
is feeble
(and) in extoling Him, the First Arif
admits his shortcoming that '(O Lord * All
caravans of wisdom have stoned to death in this bloodthirsty vale and the boats
of all attempts capsized and smashed in this ocean with invisible shores!
Many thousands boats sailed in gulf of this route, Even
a fragment of these could not reach the shore. It
is truth -where this unintelligible handful mud and where that Luminary
of the Pure (Holy) Noor
-what this clod and where that Lord of lords! Couplets
of the writer Afi Ahnu (May He pardon me!) O
who are You, anonymous without any mark and address, O
who are You nearer to me than my life? O
I see You manifested in every particle, O
who are You that is inside the Lamakaan
? O
You are nearer to me than jugular vein, O
who are You that is beyond the scope of surmise?
Sometimes You show Yourself on the Mount of Toor, Sometimes
You say 'you will not see Me' (7:143) ? With
no sign, no likeness, You are the Matchless, O
You, You do exist but what is this Invisibilty? You
are the First, the Last, the Outward
and the Inward, O
You, are You the Overt and the Covert at same time?
(Noor Muhammad) Sarwari! There is surprise wrapped inside surprise, You
are God yourself, how can you identify You!
and upon his
Progeny,
on his
Holy
Companions Radhi-ya-Allahu Ta-aala Anhum
and
on his
Family
all together.
!) We
could not attain unto Your Marifat up to that level to which it should
be!'
and in
venerating Him, the Mentor of Aqal-e-Kulli
admits his disability clearly that '(O Lord
!) I am
incapable of extolling Thy praise, Ye are like Ye as Ye have lauded Thyself'
and (in
writing) the Admiration of His Matchless Jamaal
(Beauty), pen has broken and in
eulogizing His Perfect Jamaal, the word
of speech is secret; 'he, who identified
his Lord, his tongue turned mute (and speechless)'
denotes
this and '(we are) powerlessness unto knowing Your Marifat '
is
the last resort of the Arifeen
. Arifeen
have nothing beyond Hairat
(bafflement
and wonderment) at this Station
as this limitless sea has no shore.
-where
this created Nafs
packed with temptation and desire and where that ulterior of
the ulterior Primordial Essence!
