"Tongue
of Faqeers is the Sword of the Beneficent And
the Nafs becomes Destroyed (Fanaa) by Zikr [Fikr]. How can
it be ascertained that the Beneficence-and-Fazal of Allah
Almighty 
"
comes forth after the Destruction
of Nafs
(Fanaa-e-Nafs)? What thing is called the Beneficence-and-Fazal
of Lord 
? The evidence
of this is this that if (he) Gazes upon a Jaahil, he will become Aalim
and the Uloom of the Outward and Inward are revealed unto him. And
if he Looks upon a dead [hearted] person, his hear should become living.
And if he beholds an Aalim and Faazil, he can take the entire
Ilm back from him up to the extent that he cannot recognize even the Alif
and Baa
. And his Zikr-e-Qalbi
should start (and current involuntarily) in a such a way that he is left with
no ability to read Ilm and the Name Allah
gets inscribed on his heart (like Naqsh).
And his heart should current (and flow) like a river and all the Ilm,
which is on the paper, word, line, ink, [all] gets Drowned into water because
heart is a deep Ocean and Ilm is like a piece of hay. When
a piece of hay falls in river, it never comes at rest again.
