Allah is sufficient; everything other than Allah is just lust (and greed)!

Hence*, the Murshid should first demand the Martaba of 'being a Seeker' from the Seeker and the Seeker should also demand the conditions of 'being Murshid' from the Murshid. Martaba of the Seeker is Fanaa-e-Nafs during his life and the Martaba of the Murshid is Fanaa and Baqaa in the Essence of Allah Almighty.

BAYT (COUPLET)

When I have become Fanaa (Destroyed) in the Essence of Haq,

Then what concern should I have with the revolving around the Calibers!

Where the Course of Marifat and Tauheed is and where the Course of Customs and Formalities of Taqleed is! Hence, hearing and listening, that is the Qeel-O-Qaal , is Taqleed all over and seeing and manifestation is the Course of Tauheed .

Rebuff your Nafs and come up.

*first the Murshid tests the Seeker and asks him to complete requirements and conditions of being a Seeker . The time, the Seeker has immolated his life and possessions on the Course of God, becomes Pure after having Istinja from the uncleanliness of Dunya (World), does Ablution by the water of Taqwa (piety), then he becomes fit for appearing in the Court of Allah Almighty and getting the honor of the entrance there; that time, the Murshid-e-Kaamil presents him in the Court of Allah Almighty and Holy Prophet of Allah Almighty Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam. After this, the Seeker learns the Perfections of being Murshid from the Murshid and becomes the Master of Right Guidance. He is ordered and allowed from Allah Almighty and the Holy Prophet Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam for making Seekers and Mureedain and for leading them unto Allah Almighty. On the other hand, there is no shortage of fake Seekers in the world and fake Murshid are countless here. Hence, Flawed Pir gets Flawed Mureed like:

Vile women are for vile men, and vile men for vile women (24:26)

MASNAVI

There is Hikmat (wisdom) in 'vile women are for vile men',

Vulgars pair with vulgars and get fixed,

Hence, you can pair with one you want,

But get yourself lost in him and adopt his calibers,

If you want Noor , expose yourself to Noor ,

Noor is that that demand the Noor,

Pure will unite with the Pure as they demand,

The pain absorbed by the arrows?

The Majlis of Ahmed was the companionship of the Four Friends,

But the companions of the Abu Jahl were Outba and Zulhamaar,

Every atom in the earth and heavens has union,

Straw with straw and amber with amber.
