O Master-of-gaze! Listen! This is
the Martaba of the Faqeer that he has ability over his Nafs. Hazrat Muhammad Who is called Dervish and who is
said to be a Faqeer? Dervish is he under whose study remains the Loh-e-Mahfooz
in both Outward and the Inward, should be able to tell news of
every Station, and should be able to comment about it. He is called Munajjam Faqeer
(Astrologer Faqeer) that is, he is the knower of
the Loh
(Scriptum)
and
Station. He is not completely Drowned into Tauheed. [The Kaamil]
Faqeer is he, who does not consider anything else preferable besides
Lord and the Course of Lord The Noble Prophet Hazrat
Muhammad BAYT (COUPLET) I am not
nightingale that I would cause headache by chants, I burn like moth
yet do not utter a sigh even! CHAPTER - TWO O True-Seeker! Lo! The word
Murshid The word
Taalib (Seeker) Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee
Wa-sallam
said that: "and he, who gazed
upon a Faqeer in order that he should listen his words, Allah
Almighty
will resurrect him along with the Holy Messengers (of Allah)
and the Holy Prophets Alaihimus-Salaam
on the Day of Resurrection "
; that is, Allah
is sufficient; everything other than
Allah
is just lust (and
greed)!
Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee
Wa-sallam
said that: "As for him, who
has his Lord
everything is of him"
(in Arabic) has four letters
of alphabet and that Marifat is got from them: Meem
, Raa
, Sheen
and Daal
. Through Meem
the ascension always; and the letter Raa
implies that he should dispel
pomp of the Dunya
(World), desires of Nafs
and the Satanic
Khatraat posed from the claimant Seeker; Sheen
implies that he should be steadfast
(and persistent) in Shariyat and should feel shame from disobedience
of God and the Prophet of God Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam
; and from Daal
is meant this that he should
always keep his mouth shut and after getting apart from the company of ordinary
people, he should remain Drowned in Tauheed.
also has four letters of alphabet: Taw
, Alif
, Laam
and Baa
. Taw
implies that he should Demand for
Lord; and the letter Alif
implies that he must keep True Determination; and letter Laam
means that he should not brag (and
boast) and the letter Baa implies that he should waive his authority
and should trust in his Murshid.
