his blessed
voice, hopes revived in his bosom and the Sayyed
started thinking 'now when he has
himself called me, it is better to say my words and then I should leave as
there is no problem in this way'. Hence, Sayyed
came closer to his highness and
said 'Assalaam O Alaikum!' His highness said 'Wa
Alaikum Assalaam. Who are you and why have you come?' Sayyed
told him his whole
story. His highness said
'excuse me for a while as I have to urinate. Hold my plough till I return'.
Hence, he urinated at a side and came back with the solid piece of dry mud with
which he had done Istinja
and said 'O Shah Sahib! You bothered to come here for
nothing as I am just a Jaat'. Heart
of the Sayyed
was already scotched by poverty,
hardship of travelling and despair. He became rather angry and said 'yes! Punishment
for me is that I, being a Sayyed, extending my hands like a beggar before a
Jaat for help'. Hazrat
Sultan-ul-Arifeen Hazrat
Sultan ul Faqar
Hazrat
Sultan
Bahu
May
his secret be sanctified
came in Jalaal
and threw that piece of dry and hard mud into the fields saying
these words of this couplet: They
who have Kimiya-gaze
, lumps of mud of their Istinja
, can generate gold, It
is endowment and Favor of Allah
Almighty that has no bias for a Sayyed
or a
Jaat!
* That
lump of dry mud went rolling over that ploughed piece of land and all the lumps,
which were touched by it before coming to rest, turned into lumps of pure red
gold and started shining in the sun. The Sayyed
was stunned with amazement
seeing all this and fell in his feet and started weeping and requesting for
pardon for his rudeness and boldness. His highness said
'pick these lumps and go!' The Sayyed
collected all lumps of gold in his mantle
and kissed his feet and left that place and in this way, his highness made him
rich and affluent. O Seeker
in Reveries! This is the Condition of the Favorite
Beloveds of Allah
Almighty! Haafiz Sherazi has said
well for such occasions:
Not everyone who makes his face rosy knows the way to love,
Not every mirror
maker can make Mirror
like Sikander (Aenaa-e-Sikandari ), Not
everyone, who puts on turban crookedly and sits proudly in arrogance;
Knows the way and tradition of greatness and lordship,
This subtle Nukta
is thousands of times thinner and delicate than a hair,
Not everyone who shaves his head is aware of the religion of being a Qalandar ,
[Do not be a beggar for reward and wages,
Because the friend himself knows well the tradition of slavery],
The assiduous servant of that weal maker who is indifferent to a quiet life, Looks
beggar (Faqeer ) even though he knows the caliber of Alchemy (Kimiya ) to get
wealth.
