Soherwardi Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe In
the book 'Bahujat ul Asraar' * Thus,
when we reached the blessed court of his highness The
Zaati
Fuqara
(the Faqeers
of the Essence) can grant the Ilm
and Beneficence
to
him, the will through a single Nigah (Gaze ). They, through the miracle of
their Nazar (gaze), can divest the knowledge acquired by a person in whole life
and the Beneficence
achieved after years. Hence, Hazrat
Sultan-ul-Arifeen
(Hazrat Sultan Bahu) May his secret be sanctified
Such lordliest in power over knowledge he is, He
can fetch the knowledge out of a bosom just by gazing upon it. For
the Kaamil

with the Inwardly
Eyes and the Inwardly
Hands, divesting the
Outwardly
and formal Ilm
and Beneficence
held by a person, is as easy like someone
picks a book from some book shelf!

, it is
reported that he said that 'I was very fond of the Ilm
of Speech since the
beginning and I was a young man at that time and I had memorized verbally many
books on the subject of the Ilm
of Utterance. My uncle used to forbid me from
the stuff and headache of the Ilm
of Utterance but I was not going to give up.
So much so, that one day, my uncle took me to the court of Hazrat
Shaikh Abdul-Qadir-Jelaani Qaddas-Allah
Sirru-hul Aziz
and during our journey, he advised me that he was going to take me to the
company of that person, whose heart tells (the unseen) from the Sanctuary of
Allah
Almighty and I had to be very obedient and respectful there lest we
should have to come empty-handed. Thus, when we reached the blessed court of
his highness, my uncle requested him that I was mad and crazy for the Ilm
of
Utterance.
, my uncle
requested him that I was mad and crazy for the Ilm
of Utterance and many a
times he had forbidden me but I was not going to give up and then finding no
other way, we had approached his highness so that
he should find some way out. His highness ordered
me that 'O boy! Which book on the Ilm
of Utterance and Speech you remember in
your heart'. I respectfully told his highness the list.
He, then, placed his blessed hand on my bosom and ordered to recite something
of these. I swear God! All the Ilm
of Speech vanished away of my heart as if I
had never read anything of it. I fell in his blessed feet and said sorry. His
highness
again
placed his blessed hand on by chest by virtue of which, the Noor
of Marifat
shone in my bosom and the Ilm-e-Ludunni
became clear on me. Thenceforth, his
highness ordered that 'O Umar! You will be of the last well-known Mardaan
e
Khuda
of Baghdad city!
