Hence, he, who, without Following the Holy Prophet of Allah Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam, will guide and lead [people merely] on the root and reliance of his personal righteousness as a Shaikh in himself, he will not only himself be aberrant but will also lead the people astray as Hazrat Shaikh Junaid Baghdadi Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe and Hazrat Shibli Rahmatu-Allahe Ta-aala Alaihe say that 'when you see a Sufi and the books of Tafseer are not in front of him and the books of Hadis are not on his right hand side and the books of Fiqah are not on his left hand side [that is, he goes against these], then you should understand that he is Satan and whatever is shown by him, it is all his scheme (of delusion) and Istadraaj'.

That is, if even his single action and single word is conflicting to the Code (of Shariyat) of Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam and the Faqar of Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aa-lehee Wa-sallam, then he is not a Sufi but is Satan. Thus, one should not shake hand with such Pir because of the fact that the Jaahil Pir is not worthy of guiding and leading as Allah Almighty says: "and turn away from the ignorant" (7:199)

[That is, their words and actions should not be trusted]

[And concerning their evil on account of their ignorance another Verse is witness]

Allah Almighty says: "I seek refuge in Allah from being among the foolish" (2:67)

What a nice words these are, whosoever has said:

He is worse than a dog, who keeps company with unrefined person,

It feels as if he tries to become purer by urine.

In the Tafseer e Munir, this Verse has been brought:

"From the evil of sneaking whisperer, who whispers in the heart of mankind, of the jinn and of mankind (114:4-5-6)

In Tafseer of this Verse it has been written that Satan are of two kinds: one is Jinn Satan, who are [commonly] well-known and others are Human Satan such as the Jaahil Shaikh as the evil of Jinn Satan is invisible whereas the evil of the Jaahil Shaikh is visible. Thus, first, the deeds and words of the Pir-e-Kaamil should be conformable to the aforementioned Tareeq, that is, the Shariyat and secondly, it is compulsory for him that he must be knowledgeable about four (kinds of) Ilm. After he has complied with all said prerequisites, there are four conditions to be fulfilled by him before he is to be Followed. If he fulfills the four conditions, then he is worthy of becoming Pir [Murshid] otherwise he should not Initiate anyone on his hand lest he should himself be astray or should also cause others astray.
