It was exactly one quarter of night to pass yet that the cock crowed as alarm call. Then Yaqoob (Pitras) felt great regrets and penitence in his heart that his prophecy proved true for him and he denied knowing him for three times before the crow of the cock before dawn.

Now we return to the incidence of Shahadat of Hazrat Maulvi. Sultan Daaya says that 'I ran after my Murshid till dusk and we reached the city known as Chotra Sargana which is near the river Ravi. The wife of the noble of that city, Mrs. Mehar Sultan, was a strong devotee of Hazrat Maulvi Sinhdi. When she heard the news of his arrival there, she sent a bed and bed sheet by means of her servant.

She also came there. Maulvi Sahib did not eat or drink anything and lay on that bed facing towards Qiblah. She sat on a carpet facing him and I (Sultan Daaya) sat on floor at one side. A while passed in silence and the son of Mehar Sultan, accompanied by two servants arrived there with naked swords and they beheaded Maulvi Sahib. No voice came out from him and he still lay still facing Qiblah and got Martyrdom in this way. 'We are Allah's and Lo! unto Him we are returning (2:156). That woman sat still gazing at Maulvi Sahib's body and she was also killed there. That innocent lady also received Martyrdom. May Allah grant her His Forgiveness! Sultan Daaya escaped unharmed.

Body of Hazrat Maulvi Sahib was cut into pieces with too many blows of swords. These pieces were collected in a cloth and were buried in the graveyard of Shah Nizaam. In its east-south, is situated the tomb of Ali Haider. There is situated the tomb of Hazrat Maulvi Sahib which is very illuminated and bright and a place frequently visited by many people. May Allah Almighty shower His Mercy on Hazrat Maulvi Sindhi Sahib and endow us with his Pure Qualities and enrich us with his high conduct (and morals)! Ameen!
