Creation is the most
harmful amongst all the devilments of the Devil. Partition from
creatures means the partition from Satan. And Devil Nafs
are also four: 1. Nafs-e-Mutmainna 2. Nafs-e-Lawwama 3. Nafs-e-Mulhimma 4. Nafs-e-Ammara Amongst all the evil Nafs, the
Nafs-e-Ammara cannot attain unto Haq without the gladness (and
accreditation) of Allah. Do against the Nafs as pleasing the Nafs
is as if is the opposition of God. Therefore, the Seeker
of Lord And O the Nafs Mast (intoxicated) with Anaa
should act in opposition against Nafs and should kill the Nafs
through offering Nawafil, Assalaat (Prayers) and Fasting, asceticism
and pietism. Does Nafs die through Zikr and Fikr?
And is this opposition against Nafs? Not at all! Is Fazeelat
attained through acquiring Ilm and if the Nafs dies
through Riyazat and pietism? And whether these are opposition
against Nafs? Not at all! Whether Nafs dies through
Mujahida, Mushahida, Tajalliyaat, Stations and Teer-Sair
and are if these are opposition against Nafs? Absolutely not!
If killing-Nafs is possible through recluse, doing Chillas and
hiding face from the Outsider and are these things the opposition
against Nafs? Nay! And whether Nafs dies by Kashf, Karamaat,
and Muhaasba and if these actions are the opposition against of Nafs?
Absolutely not! If through benevolence, valor and fighting
against infidels and slaying the infidels, the Nafs can be killed
and whether these actions are the opposition against Nafs? Not at all!
(ego)! And O Nafs
the adorer of God! O Nafs the Zaakir Mazkoor! And O Nafs
inflicted with Punishment and away of Lord! And O the Master of
Irshaad
Nafs! And O Nafs the cause of sedition and trouble! O Aalim,
Faazil pious and heedful Nafs! And this damned detrimental
Nafs! And O this Nafs the dear of Both-the-Worlds - the
Seeker
of the Deity! And this full of Khatraat, sins and the carrier
of Sensual-Desires Nafs! And this Nafs is guide and
is Waseela to Lord for the dead bodies. And this is the opposition
against Nafs that (one) should start wearing the coarse jute
dress (Gudri) and try to strive for that One Who beseeches not
(God); he should not buy or sell for the Dunya (World) or the Uqba;
should Jazba (mystique and emotion) in the Fire of Ishq
and adore of Wahdat; should forget every Station and Destination
of Marifat;
