Word Darood means Complements in general and a worthy Salutation in particular. The Darood e Ibrahimi is read by the Muslims during sitting posture in Assalaat (Prayers). There are also many other famous Darood which many Muslims know and read. The importance and significance of Darood Shareef can be understood from this that Allah Almighty Himself and His Angels shower Darood and Salaam on the Holy Prophet of Allah Hazrat Muhammad Sal Allahu Alaihe Wa Aalihi Wassallam (33:56)
